This also gives me a chance to see how well versed the kids are when it comes to internet searches and manipulating a word document. Its simple copy and paste of images. Or, they can use a drawing or photography application to get the job done. The author page design is totally up to the students. My only requirement is their first and last name in the center of the page.

(The TOC strip is glued at the top of the next four pages -counted front and back. I have students fold the next two pages in the journal to create a center line. They paste the strips at the top of each page to guide them in the TOC entries)
