Cornell Notes with Doodle Line

Synopsis here...

I give the kids questions or key points on a slip (I print 3 columns per page)... As we work through the activity or presentation (or whatever!) they stop me when we hit a key point so that we can make notes in the center section.
The doodle line leaves space for students to sketch, write, or diagram anything that relates to the material that will help them retain the new knowledge. Mnemonic devices, cartoons, stick figures, etc!!! All are acceptable- but not required.
The summary is written during/after a discussion with their table team. Students write down their "take" from the lesson.
